Reading is the foundation of solid academic performance in the school environment. Children with dyslexia may struggle with aspects of their reading development. This learning difficulty can stop a child from reaching their full potential and can also affect a child emotionally and socially. This course provides teachers, parents and other healthcare professionals the latest and most up-to-date information about dyslexia, as well as practical solutions which can support and assist children who are affected by this learning difficulty. Case study examples are also used to allow learners to apply their knowledge. The course also includes a comprehensive strategy toolkit developed to provide support across the child’s development.
